The Swedish Radio and Television Act

The framework for radio and television activity is set out in the basic law on freedom of expression and its dependent legislation. The Swedish Radio and Television Act contains regulations regarding the broadcasting of sound radio programmes and television programmes that are directed to the general public, and designed to be received using technical devices.
